Usually, DoNE’s releases are well known and anticipated. Not so the case with this movie. Still, ratings are decent and the synopsis may appeal to some of you. So, here it is.
Synopsis: Monica Ali’s debut gets the cinematic treatment with this literary adaptation. At the age of 17, Nazneen (Tannishtha Chatterjee) unwillingly marries an older man, and he takes her from her rural home in Bangladesh to the busy streets of London. Refusing to live the life that’s been assigned to her, Nazneen begins an affair with a man she meets in her new home.
