On the chopping block today we have some Death Cab for Cutie, a fairly well known indie band from the States. This album brings a new sound to their songs. They have said that they included more heavy, slow metal type sounds into this release. It sounds pretty cool, worth a look. Enjoy!
Narrow Stairs is the seventh studio album by rock band Death Cab for Cutie. It will be released on May 12, 2008 in the United Kingdom and May 13, 2008 in the United States. The first single of the album was “I Will Possess Your Heart”, released on March 18, 2008.
Death Cab for Cutie is an American indie pop rock band formed in Bellingham, Washington in 1997. The band takes its name from a satirical song of the same name, written by Vivian Stanshall and performed by the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band on their 1967 album Gorilla plus in the Beatles’ experimental movie, Magical Mystery Tour.
