We don’t have a Swedish films here at RLSLOG every day, but this will be a nice exception: Du Levande (English title “You, the Living”) is a highly acclaimed drama with some elements of comedy. Titled as film about the grandeur of existing, Du Levande won many awards at film festivals in Europe as well as North America. Filmmaker Roy Andersson draws the viewer into the world of a woman whose most uplifting moments are always balanced by tragedy, and whose joy is constantly offset by sorrow.
