Haven’t there already been enough “Alternative” anything of this film? I seriously don’t see the point in making a release of an entire film which has already been released but just with a different ending or slightly different scenes. Hardcore fans of this film (are there such people?) might want to download this, but casual viewers will probably not see the point. To top it all, EwDp haven’t even included the differences of this release in their NFO. Brilliant. Quality on the other hand looks great with a crisp image and AC3 audio.
Edit: Well it seems the main difference in this release is the ending, which most of you will have seen separately by now. If anyone notices any other differences, be sure to post them in the comments.
It is the year 2012. In the ruins of New York city. Robert Neville who is a military scientist who is the lone survivor of a biochemical disease which was supposed to cure cancer 3 years previous. With only blood thirsty zombies as his neighbors and his trusty dog, Samantha, Robert is trying to discover a cure for this disease and to find out any other people who might have also survived.
