The unofficial end of writers strike will result in many new episodes of your favourite shows returning to TVs soon, but there are already some completely new shows which started tonight. Lily Allen and Friends is one of them - a talk show hosted by popular singer and song-writer, who starter her career just 2 years ago with debut album “Alright, Still”. The show is broadcasted on BBC.
The star hosts her own chat show based on the online social-networking phenomenon that helped launch her career. Viewers are invited to become Lily’s virtual friends, contributing to discussions plus putting questions to guests, including in this programme Cuba Gooding Jr plus David Mitchell. Featuring music by chart-topping bands such as Reverend and the Makers plus the lesser-known act, Youtube favourite Tay Zonday.
