The giant snakes somehow attract film makers and there’s a lot of movies about them. The most popular installation would be probably Anaconda with its sequel, but now comes “Mega Snake” in the play. When Duff Daniels steals an ancient snake, the Unteka, from Native American snake proprietor Screaming Hawk, he is given three rules to follow: “don’t let it out of the jar, don’t let it eat anything living, and never fear the heart of the snake.” The jar gets broken and the snake starts eating, growing as it does. It is left to ophidiophobic paramedic Les to right his brother’s wrong, with help from his girlfriend Erin plus Screaming Hawk. They must learn the meaning of the final rule in order to slay the 40 foot+ snake now snacking its way through the town carnival.
