CachemanXP is RAM & system optimizer for Win XP (and older Win versions). Note: It doesn’t work on Vista (but according to publisher, Vista version is in development).

Unlike other tuneup utilities, CachemanXP runs as a system service, minimizing resource usage plus tweaking Windows at system-level.
