With a slogan like “Lose The Race, Lose Your Ride.”, how could I resist watching this adrenaline-infused show from the SPEED Network Channel. I don’t think we have covered this show in the past, but since I saw the latest two eps pre by OMiCRON: I decided it was time I covered this for all gearheads and racing fans alike among us out here. The premise of this show is simple as stated in the slogan - Using the setting of a classic 1950s like drag racing strip, PiNKS pits two contestants and their rides in a best three-out-of-five format, with the loser handing over the title (pink slip) to his or her vehicle. Combining the exhilaration of high speed drag racing with the risk of high-stakes gambling, PiNKS just might be the ultimate reality show.
