This French movie is nominated for no less than 4 Oscars, so there’s little more I can say to spice up your interest in it. Group DMT mentions English subtitles in the NFO, but as far as I know releases with hard-coded subs are supposed to be tagged SUBBED. So I guess there will be subtitles floating around in the near future. One thing you should really consider before snapping up this release is that the movie is 2 hrs 27 mins long, and it’s quite the feat to crunch it down to 700 MB like that and have it look half-way decent. Samples will follow.
Synopsis:
“The Diving Bell and the Butterfly” [AKA: Scaphandre et le papillon, Le] tells the story Elle France editor Jean-Dominique Bauby, who, in 1995 at the age of 43, suffered a stroke that paralyzed his entire body, except his left eye. Using that eye to blink out his memoir, Bauby eloquently described the aspects of his interior world, from the psychological torment of being trapped inside his body to his imagined stories from lands he’d only visited in his mind.
