Little over 40 minutes ago, this DVDSCR surfaced courtesy of KAMERA. Ever since OPTIC released a SCR copy a few days go, I’ve been checking out this movie and, even though I’m not a big fan of hide-behind-the-sofa flicks, I might just give this a go. Video bitrate is encouraging, there are property message throughout but they didn’t disturb me a great deal when I watched a few minutes. DVDRip will be available in about couple of months but you can save yourself the wait today because I have a feeling this is the next best thing and I also like the narration at the beginning…
Narration
What you are about to see is inspired by true events. According to the F.B.I. there are an estimated 1.4 million violent crimes in America each year. On the night of February 11, 2005 Kristen McKay plus James Hoyt went to a friend’s wedding reception and then returned to the Hoyt family’s summer home. The brutal events that took place there are still not entirely known.
Plot
After returning from a wedding reception, a couple staying in an isolated vacation house receive a knock on the door in the mid-hours of the night. What ensues is a violent invasion by three strangers, their faces hidden behind masks. The couple find themselves in a violent struggle, in which they go beyond what either of them thought capable in order to survive.
